Engagement Requirement for Care Worker Sponsorships: Skilled Worker sponsors must now engage with their regional care partnership before sponsoring care workers or senior care workers.
Revised Salary Thresholds: Minimum salary requirements have been updated for Skilled Workers and specified Seasonal Workers.
New Restrictions on Salary Deductions: Tighter rules have been introduced regarding permissible deductions from Skilled Worker salaries.
Creative Worker Route Update: Sponsoring Creative Workers for permanent positions is now expressly prohibited.
Clarification on GAE and Charity Workers: The supernumerary rule under the Government Authorised Exchange (GAE) route and allowances for Charity Workers have been clarified.
These revisions aim to ensure greater compliance, transparency, and fairness in the UK’s sponsorship system.
