A group of seven people, including a child from Africa, have been held on Teesside over immigration allegations.
Harbour Police have the people thought to be from Eritrea on suspicion of entering the UK illegally on a cargo vessel.
Five men, one woman and a child were discovered at Teesport at 7pm on Monday.
The woman was taken to hospital complaining of chest pains, but has since been discharged.
The child was taken into the care of social services.
Border Force, the Home Office agency, said the cases of all seven people will now be dealt with according to immigration rules.
