Purpose of the session
The session is likely to cover:
- An assessment of where the UK is in the negotiations
- The extent to which immigration will feature in the negotiations
- How the UK might best satisfy demand for control of immigration while maximising market access
- Whether the UK should seek to remain in the EEA and what immigration controls might be possible in such a scenario
- The trade-off between market access and sovereignty
- What immigration options could be delivered by a free trade agreement
