Nova Scotia invited 144 candidates for a provincial nomination in the latest draw. The invitations were issued under the Labour Market Priorities Stream.

The Nova Scotia PNP invited candidates in the NOC Code 1123 Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations.

The Labour Market Priorities Stream invites suitable candidates from the Express Entry Pool who match the labour market needs of the province. The stream was launched in 2018, and since then it has conducted exclusive draws for the following:

  • Early childhood educators and assistants
  • Social Workers
  • Financial auditors and accountants
  • French-speaking candidates

Candidates invited in the latest draw must have at least two or more years of relevant work experience in advertising, marketing or public relations in the recent five years. They also must have at least a Masters degree with a positive Educational Credential Assessment. These candidates also must have a score of CLB 9 in an eligible English test. Also, they needed to have had submitted their EOIs on or after 1st January 2019.

The candidates who get a provincial nomination successfully will be able to add 600 points to their CRS score. This effectively guarantees an invite in the upcoming Express Entry draws.

Candidates invited in the latest Nova Scotia PNP draw need to submit a provincial nomination application before 19th January 2020.
