    Now, think about how you would feel if you had to start a new life in somewhere like London.

    ITV News is sharing the stories of people who are building a better life in the capital.

    Once a child refugee, Hashi Mohamed is now working in one of the UK’s top professions.

    James Dunham went to meet him.

    To see what life is like for other refugees Hashi has met a number of inspirational young people.

    Maya Ghazal When she was 15 she left her home in Syria because of conflict. Arriving here she was turned away from several schools.

    Omar Alfrough Omar originally found it difficult to adapt to life in London after leaving Syria because of war. He’s now got big ambitions.

    Mohamed Abdulle Mohamed Abdulle is knows how important every opportunity is. His parents gave up their life in Somalia to give him hope for the future.
