GEORGE TOWN: An illegal immigrant who allegedly molested a female tourist in Lebuh Acheh here has been nabbed.
The 33-year-old lawyer from the United Kingdom said she was walking along the road at 8.45am on Friday (Sept 14) when the man, who was walking towards her, suddenly groped her breasts.
The woman, who arrived here for a holiday on Wednesday (Sept 12), shouted for help, prompting the man to flee.
However, a passer-by managed to apprehend him until the police arrived shortly after.
“He did not have any proper documents with him when he was detained,” he said in a statement on Saturday (Sept 15).
The case is also being investigated under Section 354 of the Penal Code for outrage of modesty.
