British Columbia in Canada held the latest Tech Pilot draw on 23rd December. The province invited 52 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Permanent Residency of Canada.
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program issued the invitations under the below categories:
- Express Entry British Columbia
- Skills Immigration
The minimum required score in the latest Tech draw was 90 points.
The Tech Pilot is a fast-track pathway for skilled tech workers and international students to gain Permanent Residency in Canada.
To be eligible for the Tech Pilot, applicants need to have an offer of employment from an employer in British Columbia. The job offer should be in any one of the 29 eligible tech occupations in the province. The job offer should be at least one year long. There should be more than 120 days remaining at the time of applying for the Tech Pilot.
To apply under the Tech Pilot, applicants must first create an online profile through the SIRS (Skills Immigration Registration System) portal. Eligible applicants are scored based on various factors like education, work experience, language skills etc.
